TechGirlsTech Girls - Girl Coding

An initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, TechGirls is an international summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire young women from the United States, Central Asia and the Middle East and North Africa to pursue careers in science and technology. The weeklong technology camp provides young women with an in-depth practice of technology-related topics, such as coding and cybersecurity. 


Girlstart - Female CodingGirlstart

Girlstart’s strives to increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM through innovative, nationally-recognized informal STEM education programs. It provides a year-round, intensive suite of STEM education programs for K-12 girls. Girlstart’s core programs foster STEM skills development with a focus on STEM electives, majors, and careers.

 


Girls Who Code

Through afterschool programs and a two-week summer immersion program, Girls Who Code has over 8,500 programs worldwide. Its mission is to close the gender gap in computing through diversity, equity, and inclusion bravery, sisterhood, and activism for third- to 12th-graders. New options to code at home are available for free. 

 


Girls in Tech

With more than 50 chapters throughout the world, Girls in Tech provides inspiring programs and a diverse community to help young women enter into and excel in tech. Conferences, boot camps, local events, workshops, and even job boards provide training, resources, experiences, and, most importantly, community.

 


Alexa Cafe - For Girls in TechAlexa Café

 

Endorsed by the Society of Women Engineers, Alexa Café offers weeklong day and overnight sessions for girls ages 10 to 15 at locations nationwide. The program blends tech, entrepreneurship, and social impact in a fresh, café-like setting to code an app for charity, design a mobile game, or discover artificial intelligence while collaborating with new friends and create a project you’re passionate about.
